Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's brass letter opener in the shape of a sword and embossed to one side to the handle "Protector Lamps & Lighting Co Ltd Eccles ( Lanes )" and "also miners lamps & lamp room fittings" and to the blade calibrated as a ruler in metric and inches "Enamelled Iron Signs & Notice Plates".
