4 Piece Carving Set C108

Original, quality late 19th century unused four piece steel carving set with antler handles and the original blue paper covered box with velvet and white silk lining to the interior. The smaller pair of tools is for poultry, and the larger for general meat otherwise. The knives are etched for the maker "Butler of Sheffield, England" and the two prong forks have the carving guards combined with folding stands marked "Victor" and the registration number for the year 1892. Remember, these pieces of cutlery are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they dislike water or moisture; just wipe dry them thoroughly. This set is really unused and is in complete and in superb condition.
