Vernons Patent Ceramic Chamberpot CP99

Original, quality circa 1900, ceramic chamberpot manufactured by Brown Westhead, Moore & Co with a patent rubber ring to the underside to prevent chipping the lower rim when in use. This most unusual example is in white with a pale green panel and top rim and gilt line detail. The underside is impressed with the manufacturer's details and transfer printed with the details for "Vernons Patent proprietor of patent rights" and "Zuccani London". One tiny chip to the underside of the top rim, otherwise complete and in good order and a most unusual find.
