3 Piece Set of Brass Fire Irons F769
£350.00 GBP
Original, quality late 19th century three piece set of matching brass fire irons comprising shovel, tongs and poker with identical top grips. The shovel end has a pierced detail, and the poker has a square section steel tip. The piercing to the shovel was to sift through the embers and put back onto the fire all but the ash. All have a tubular rod in brass with steel internal mounts for strength. A super quality set of a good weight and showing very little use. Complete and in good and working order.
Shovel 26.5" x 5" x 1.75". Tongs 26" x 3.5" x 1.5". Poker 26.5" x 1.5" x 1.5". Price is for the set.
