Tewksbury Regatta Trophy SG236

Original, quality mid 19th century Pewter Tankard Trophy presented for the "Tewksbury Regatta on 12th & 13th July 1865 Scratch Race" engraved as such to the front and "won by", "1. Bow- J.S. Earle. 2. - G.O. Lister, West London. 3. G.G. Coventry, Pemb Coll Oxon. 4. Stroke - J.J. Bickerson City of Oxford". This clean trophy has studs on bands decoration, a side handle and a glass bottom. The glass has a small chip but otherwise all is complete and in good order. Will not hold liquid.
