Sussex Saltglazed Flagon SJ319

Original, quality 18th or early 19th century bellied-shaped salt-glazed flagon with a strap handle to the rear, several super firing blemishes and a small pouring neck. The front shoulder is impressed for the maker or retailer of the original contents "William Lock Wartling Sussex" and the rear shoulder for the maker of the flagon "Whiskers Double glazed without lead". All is complete and in good order.
