Original, quality late 19th century silver pin inlaid wooden ink blotter with a crescent shaped base, a removable top section to secure the blotting paper and a wooden threaded knob to secure the top after renewing the blotting paper. This super example is decorated overall with inlaid designs of silver wire and silver pins. A serious work of art. May be continental even Indian ? Nevertheless, complete and in good and working order.
