Palmerlite Electric Side Lamp SL429

Original, quality mid to late 19th century white glass stem and brass mounted, Palmer Candle lamp, converted to electricity. This superb fitting has a cast brass base in the form of acanthus leaves and flowers and very similar brass mounts to the top. The ribbed white glass stem is tapered towards the top and all is aesthetically very balanced in design, even though we have coverted it to electricity. The three-core silk-covered flex, three-pin plug, inline switch and brass bulb holders are all new fittings. Fully overhauled and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. The shade is for display only.
