Pair of Trench Art Brass Jugs SC142

Pair of original, quality, trench art jugs fashioned from a pair of 1st World War brass shell cases. Both the undersides are stamped for 1917 and with other letters and numbers. The sides of the bodies are punch engraved with matching detail, both with a shield shaped inner border and "Peronne 1919", "Souvenir from France" in a ribbon sway and with similar floral detail. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good order.
