Pair of original, quality early 19th century "Liston" amputation knives with good clean and sharp steel blades and checkered black ebony grips. The blades are impressed for the manufacturer "H. Wright 32 London Rd London", surgical instrument makers at this address from 1832 to 1843. This pair of knives were part of the 'Richard Merry' set Ref code: M156. Very clean examples and complete and in good order.
