Pair of Mythical Beasts Brass Fire Dogs FD141

Original, quality pair of cast brass fire dogs in the form of mythical creatures incorporating single lion paw feet, grotesque faces with curled rams horns and laurel leaf swags all mounted on square brass plinths. The undersides are detailed with the registration number for the year 1900 and all has been polished and lacquered. although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. These are the first we have seen. All is complete and in good and working order.
