Pair of Copper Saucepans SP179
Pair of original, quality, bellied copper saucepans, with pouring lips and blacksmith made wrought iron side handles. These most unusual saucepans have a side seam, a rolled over top rim and a seam to the floor also. The flat wrought iron handles are fixed with copper rivets and both have a brass plaque detailing the registration number for the year 1884. The undersides are stamped "22JM" and "6" to the larger and "52JM" and "2" to the smaller, the 6 and 2 are for the pints capacity. Both these pans have good internal tinning and have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. They are are complete and in good and working order. The first we have seen of this model.
Larger pan base 8.5" diameter. Pan 4.5" tall. Smaller pan base 6.5" diameter. Pan 3.5" tall.
