Laundry Crimping Machine L277

Original, quality late 19th century three piece cast iron crimping machine, used when crimping the starched collars and cuffs for maids and nurses or similar. The handle of the roller in the original black paint is impressed "Patent 1880". The middle ribbed plate is placed on / in the fire or oven to heat up and the base unit still with the original paint, is embossed to the underside for the manufacturer "Shephard Hardware Co, Buttalo NY" and "Patented Dec 12 1878". Complete and in good and working order.
