Kestrel in Picture Frame Case T222
£550.00 GBP
Original, quality Kestrel mounted in a picture frame case circa 1920. This superb case was mounted by George Bazeley of Wolverhampton, 1871 - 1958, and originally had a label to the front glass panel but was removed when renewing the front glass and is available on request still attached to a small section of the glass. This taxidermist was known for his picture frame cases. This example has old wallpaper on the reverse of the cabinet and all is complete and in good order and a very lifelike pose.
