Original, quality late 19th century cast brass keyhole surround with a swinging cover originally fitted to a fireproof safe. The cover is embossed John Tann Ltd No 117 Newgate St London E.C.". The keyhole itself is mounted unusually 'Horizontal', is stamped '2' and has three countersunk screw holes for mounting. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.
