J.Tams Pint Ale Measure M214

Original, quality late 19th century off white ceramic ale measure with a side handle and a blue and red line around the top. This example is tapered into the top and the front is detailed "Patent Government stamped measure, sole patentee and maker John Tams Longton Staffs, Earthenware Manufacturer". Some minor discolouration and one short hairline crack to the top rim otherwise complete and in good order.
