Hampson's Whip Rack WR12

Original, quality late 19th century wall mounted whip rack with a rectangular shaped mahogany backboard mounted with two twin circular walnut whip reels, each mounted with a central boss and a brass horseshoe. This superb backboard is also mounted with four brass countersunk provisions for the mounting screws, six cast brass whip hooks and the maker's brass nameplate detailing "Hampsons Registered Whip-Rack". The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order and the first we have seen.
