Half Gallon Bentwood Pulse Measure M44

Original quality seedsman's bentwood half gallon pulse measure, circa 1900. Branded to the outside wall and to the inner floor and side wall with the custom and excise stamp with King Edward's crown, '4' and 'LCC' for London County Council. Signs of old worm but well treated and generally complete and in good order. Interestingly the bottom of this example has been turned and is now fitted inside the top rim and the whole item is turned upside down.
