Doulton Silicon Ware Beaker J145

Original, quality circa 1880 / 1910 Doulton of Lambeth stoneware lemonade beaker very cleverly and realistically simulated "copper beaker" made from panels of rivetted copper, but actually made from Doulton glazed stoneware. This example, from a range of products manufactured by Doulton, has lots of simulated rivets, several simulated dents and a hallmarked silver top rim. Other matching items may well be available. The underside is impressed "Doulton Silicon Ware" and with the registration number for the year 1889 and all is complete and in good order.
