Original, quality, two tone stoneware beaker, manufactured by Royal Doulton to commemorate the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902. The top glazed band is in chocolate brown over the pale brown main body and the detailing in sepia is a cameo of King Edward and Queen Alexandra, surrounded with Tudor roses, thistle heads and shamrocks, with a ribbon swag beneath "Crowned 26th June 1902". The underside of the beaker has the impressed 'lion on a crown' logo, "Royal Doulton England" and "1387". Perfect. Another identical may well be available, with just a different number impressed to the underside.
