Copper Roasting Drip Pan K127
£135.00 GBP
Original, quality, mid 19th century, rectangular shaped copper drip pan, with rounded corners. These were used beneath a roasting spit to catch the fat for re-basting the meat. This example has a small well to one corner with grooves running towards it, curved sides and a flat top rim to the outer edges, probably used on a low stand for support. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order.
19.5" x 13.75" plus 1.75" tall.
