Continental Flat Iron L265

Original, quality late 19th century cast iron laundry iron with a wrought iron shaped handle and the cast iron body with curved up, back and front. Probably used for ironing lace or other open woven fabrics. Not a common example. Cleaned and waxed and complete and in good order.
