Original, quality early to mid 19th century circular cast iron 4lb shop counter weight. This example is embossed to the upper surface for the manufacturer "Collings & Wallis, Birmingham" and "Imperial 4lb" and also has the customs copper stud typical for these earlier cast iron weights of the larger sizes. Cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good order.
