Original, quality 1920's chemist tool for sharpening brass cylindrical cutters used to make corks for medicine bottles. This very clean example has a brass cone shaped insert to house the blade and a turned fruitwood handle. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.
