Cast Iron Spit Bracket, 3 available SB37

Original, quality unused late 19th century cast iron spit bracket. This example has most of the original black japanned finish and would have been fitted to the front of the mantle shelf on the chimney breast with a bottle jack type of clockwork spit suspended in front of the fire from the ridged bar of this bracket.
