Original, quality late 19th century bread knife with a steel blade and a silver plated handle with embossed acanthus leaf decoration. The blade is etched for the maker "Sutherland & Rhoden Sheffield". Remember, these knives are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they do not like water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. All is complete and in good and working order.
