Brass on Leather Haime Plate HB194

Original, quality late 19th century heavy horse brass decoration, haime plate with a pair of small brass shields with their own leather backing and all mounted on the original leather strap with a shaped brass buckle. The haime plate has the detail of a heavy horse with a saddle pad. The two end loops in the leather strap fit around the tops of the pair of haimes when mounted on the collar and all is complete and in good order and in superb condition.
