Brass Loo Door Bolt Set LL112

Original, quality 1920's four piece cast brass loo door bolt set with screws "Ashwells Patent". This set has a decorated backplate to the sliding bolt, embossed "Ashwells Patent", the keep and a circular brass window for the outside of the door with a circular enamel disc detailing "Vacant" and "Engaged". This moves from one to the other each time the bolt is drawn across. The centre of this window is a screw slot to enable entry if required in an emergency. This bolt can be used on both left and right handed doors. All has been fully overhauled; the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.
