Brass Crimping Machine L278

Original, quality late 19th century cast iron crimping machine with ribbed brass rollers, a turned fruitwood winding handle, two original heating rods and all mounted on an old wooden block. These were used for crimping the housemaid's collars and cuffs and similar. This example works very well. All has been cleaned, the ironwork waxed and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order.
