Arts & Crafts Brass Water Jug J186

Original, quality late 19th century all brass water jug with a handle to the rear, a good shaped pouring lip and a lid to the top. The underside has an embossed applied manufacturer's label detailing a phoenix rising from flames and "HF & Co" and a clear embossed lozenge registration mark for the year 1880. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.
