Art Nouveau Copper Jug J222

Original, quality late 19th century Art Nouveau water jug in the form of an ale measure. This superb example is the first we have seen and a real beauty. The exaggerated handle to the side has decorative mounts as has the lid to the top. The underside has the trade mark for the maker W. Souter & S. and for the size "8". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.
