Original, quality late 19th century butchers' shop, sharpening steel, with a stag horn antler handgrip, a brass safety guard and a brass hanging ring. The smooth iron is impressed for the manufacturer "Taylor eye witness Sheffield". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.
