Copper Ale Muller AM6
Original, quality late 19th century coppersmith made ale muller of the "Donkey's Ear" design. These mullers were used to warm up ale in the hot coals of the fire. This example has a rolled over seam and top rim, good tinning to the inside and most of all, the maker's name to the shaped side handle "E.J. Walden Banbury". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order. 10.25", 7" wide including handle and 4" top diam.

Ceramic Bidet Liner B1
Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, kidney shaped, white ceramic bidet liner, decorated to the inside with well detailed illustrations of flowers, leaves, birds and insects to include moths, beetles, dragonflies and butterflies. The detail is in various pastel colours, with gilt highlights. The outer edge of the pan has a gilded line and this and some of the illustrations are a little rubbed, but all is complete and in superb order otherwise, with not a chip or crack in sight. The underside is impressed "F and M & Co", probably for the maker 'Frances Morley and Co, Hanley, Staffordshire Potteries 1845 to 1858'.

Original, quality circa 1900, heavy cut and polished clear glass rectangular shaped cigarette box with a silver plated top collar and hinged lid. The glass is thick and clear and as clean as new and the silver plated fittings are the same. All appears to have seen very little use, a good set of plate marks to the rear collar. Original, quality 1930's, steel cash box in the original simulated 'wood veneered' paintwork. This very clean example, with the original key, also has the original red paintwork to the interior, a lift out tray and a concealed alarm system under the false floor powered by replaceable batteries. Turn the key once to lock and twice to set the alarm and when the box is picked up the alarm is set off. Not only is the paintwork original inside and out, the original paper purchase receipt was stored in the battery area and dated December 19th 1933. Fully overhauled, complete and in good and working order. 9.5" x 7.5" and 5.25" tall.

Tin Cash Box CB5
Original, quality, late 19th century, small tin cash box in the form of a miniature tin travelling trunk. The original scrumbled bright orange / tan coloured paintwork has been retained to the outside, although a faded on the top. The interior is in Japanned black and originally had a lift out tray fitted. The brass mortice lock is stamped "Patent Lever" inside and out and "London", a replacement key has been cut to suit. The cast brass carry handle to the top is rather decorative, but also does the job well. A most unusual cash box, complete and in good and working order, with just the lift out tray missing. The brass has been polished and lacquered. 9" x 6" and 3.75" tall with handle down.

Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, cast brass side view of a gentleman's head in relief mounted on a heavy circular cast brass wall plaque. The reverse of the plaque has a screwhead slot for wall hanging and shows an old repair. The gentleman is unknown to us, we would be pleased to know of him if you do. Has been lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

This example appears unused for there are no fat stains and all is in mint condition with just a short faint hairline crack to the top back panel of the lid. A plain off white colour with bands of decoration in relief and gold lining. Complete and in good order.

Pair of Winfield Arum Lily Curtain Tie Backs CT3
Original, quality mid 19th century pair of superb brass and opaline glass curtain tie backs in the form of very detailed Arum Lilies. The fine brass mounts are in the original matt gilt finish, the flower heads are perfect and the gilt collars beneath the flower necks are detailed "R.W Winfield Patent" and with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1845. Both these items have the original wall plates and although one has some good old repairs to some old damage both are in superb condition otherwise. It's some years since I have seen this model tie back. R.W Winfield was a serious manufacturer of the best brass items excelling in the most elaborate brass beds ever produced. 11" tall x 3.5" wide and 5" front to back.

Royal Worcester Ceramic Wall Bracket DP19
Original, quality late 19th century Royal Worcester ceramic wall bracket with the head of a 'Dog of Fo' with tusks. This most unusual example has bold colours of blue and green with heavy gilding to the high points. Although complete, it does have old damage with a firing crack to the reverse turning into a hairline crack to the top and a few minor chips to the top front edge, otherwise all is complete and in good order with a Worcester mark to the reverse. This wall bracket was purchased during the filming of an episode of Dickinson's Real Deal for ITV in Crewe in Cheshire. 8" tall x 9.5" widest and 8.5" front to back.

This stand was for setting a display of cut flowers and is a larger than normally found size. It is also most unusual to find these in coloured glass. The stand is of a clover leaf shape, with embossed decoration of leaves, stems and mythical beast heads and an acanthus leaf trim to the outer rim, all standing on three ball feet. The inkwell has a brass collar and hinge to the cut glass lid and apart from a few minor chips to the inside of the cap, all is complete and in good and working order. The underside has a maker's mark of "AFC" and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual example. 8.5" widest x 4.75" tall including inkwell.

Original, quality, moulded clear glass 'snail' shaped inkwell, mounted on a cast iron stand in the original bronze coloured finish. The sleigh shaped stand is decorated in relief, with acanthus leaves, has a pen rest to the top at the back and is impressed "Patented 1879". When the inkwell is tilted up, the neck is a flush fit to the back circular plate and when down enough ink is tilted forward for dipping the pen into. An ingenious invention which works very well and is a super find to have both pieces, still intact, barely used and still together. 3.5" tall x 2.5" wide and 5.5" front to back.

Original, quality late 19th century ceramic toilet jug originally part of an ewer and basin set. This super example is in the form of a stylised seashell with a handle over the top and the crests of waves to the plinth. The handle to the top has simulated binding, and the whole jug is transfer decorated with yellow 'dog' roses with a bright yellow colour overall. The underside is transfer printed for "Bros trademark Stoke on Trent Staffordshire" and embossed with the registration number for the year 1899. All is complete and in good order, with not a chip or blemish in sight.

The rack has a rectangular shaped oak base, and all is "swivel" mounted on three curved legs, which have replacement brass ball feet fitted. Original, quality 1920's, huge plumber's lead dressing dolly in lignum vitae. These were used by plumbers to dress roofing leadwork and drainpipes etc. Lignum Vitae is heavy and hard and one of the few woods that with not float. This example is the largest we have seen and has a super detailed grain, showing two extreme colour variances. The side is impressed with the trade mark of two columns and "Monument Brand". A very unusual item in great condition. 14.75" x 4" diameter.

The cast pink brass side handles are decorated with Acanthus leaf designs, the cast brass tap has a bone finial grip and the lid has a flower shaped finial/grip mounted above the vented area. The urn shaped body is mounted on a slender neck onto a shaped plinth with ribbed corner mounts and four bun feet. The rim on the plinth and the top rim have bands of pink cast brass as has the central body section. The heating bar and assembly to the inside is missing, but all is complete and in good and working order otherwise and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A super samovar in super condition. 16" tall and 13" front to back including handle tap. 14.5" wide including and 7" square base at feet.

Original, quality set of four 1950's ceramic flying ducks, well drakes really for they are male "Mallard" ducks. These wall mounted plaques are bright and perfect with three being marked for "Sylvac Ware Made in England" to the reverse and the other for "Falcon Ware Made in England". This set are in superb condition with one minor injury, the upper beak to the smallest bird has been off and glued back on, but only visible under a glass. All is complete and in mint condition otherwise.
