Original, quality, late 19th century wall mounted cast iron harness rack with a turned teak top mount and two countersunk screw holes to the backplate. These examples were manufactured by 'Musgrave of Belfast', although it is not marked as such and were supplied to the very best stable yards for the top properties. All is complete and in good and working order. Backplate 2.5" tall x 4" wide and total 3.75" front to back. Other harness racks of this quality are often available.

Kenrick Cast Iron Tally Iron with Poker L220
Original, quality late 19th century very small cast iron tally iron with the original poker. This super example has a circular cast iron base embossed with a beaded design and marked to the underside '3' for the size and "Kenrick" for the manufacturing iron foundry A Kenrick & Sons of West Bromwich. The original poker, most unusual to find these together, is a delicate piece of blacksmith wrought ironwork with shapes to the stem and a loop at the end. The tally iron appears to be in the original black finish or it may well be an old repaint ? and the poker has been cleaned and lacquered. Base 2.75" diam, total height 4.25" and 10.5" length with poker.

Original, quality mid to late 19th century Sheffield plated "Standish" with the original pair of cut glass inkwells. This super example has a highly pierced gallery on three sides all with a rope twist trim and stands on four fancy bracket feet. The inkwells also have a pierced frame for each to sit in and a matching hinged Sheffield plated cap. The upper surface of the tray has been engraved for a previous owner "M.H" and is bleeding through to copper in many areas. The underside is impressed with a rising sun maker's mark and "England". All is in great condition and complete. 12.5" x 8" and 3.5" tall. Each inkwell 2.5" x 2.5" and 2.5" tall.

Original, quality pair of late 19th century dark green apothecary salve pots in ceramic with the original lids. Both these pots have suffered damage with stains and chips but no cracks. The one with the painted label has two chips to the base rim and some tiny minor chips to the top rim and lid and the other has two chips to the top inner rim and bad stains, otherwise all is complete. Great to be a pair of the same colour. Tall including lid 1 x 10", 1 x 9.5" and base diam both 6".

Original, quality octagonal, off white coloured plate with a black transfer printed head and shoulders of W.Gladstone Prime Minister 1880 . 1886. Much detail to the front of this plate detailing W.Gladstone's Achievements. The reverse of this plate has the beehive trademark for the manufacturer Wallis Gimson & Co and the registration number for the year 1886. One minuscule chip to the rear of the rim otherwise complete and in order. 11" widest diam and 1" front to back.

Gents Top Hat with Card Box Velvet Hat Wipe and Photo of Original Owner H6
Original, quality gentleman's size 7 silk top hat in superb condition with the original card box, velvet brushing pad, wedding photograph of original owner when new in 1913 and other copies of related documents. The box is scruffy hence the hat is near immaculate with only some staining to the inner leather headband. The lining of this hat is detailed for the retailer "Billet & Co Faringdon Road Swindon" and the brushing pad was supplied and detailed as such for Billet & Co. The original sepia wedding photograph taken by "Protheroe & Simons Swindon" shows a William Boucher as the Bridegroom wearing this same hat. The actual photograph is in good order with just some damage to the surround. Two sheets of copies of various documents are also included detailing a potted history of this W. Boucher hat. Box 9" tall x 13" x 10.5" and pad 6.5" x 3.5" x 2". Photo 18" x 14".

The locks have been fully overhauled and has two keys for the door and one for the drawer and the brass plaque is detailed for the manufacturer "T. Withers & Son & Sons West Bromwich". These have been sandblasted in the past and do show the finely detailed casting. The lower section has Acanthus leaf decoration and mythical fish designs and the upper section, a face to both sides. The reverse has a registration lozenge mark for the year 1842 to 1883. All are complete and in good order. 39" x 7.25" and 2.5" front to back. Main stem 2" front to back max at base. Original, quality, late 19th century, circa 1900, blacksmith made hand wrought iron log fork for the down hearth. This super long example has a hayfork shaped head with two prongs and an open basket type hand grip, has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. A most unusual example. 60" x 5.5" x 1.25" diam handgrip.

Original, quality pre-war tin money box with the key in the form of a gas fire within a tiled fireplace and surround all in the original detailed paintwork. The front of the gas fire is detailed "Wrights Thermo x Gas Fire" and the reverse has much detail for John Wright & Co manufacturer of the fire simulated here as a money box; also "Regd design. The Acro No 560". Some minor scuffs to the finish otherwise complete and in good and working order. 4.75" tall x 4.5" and 1.75" front to back at base.

Original, quality pre-war tin money box, in the form of a miniature gas stove in the original detailed paintwork with a key. The sides are both transfer decorated with "Eureka" the reverse "Made in England No555", the front, a simulated oven door and the top, the gas rings and grill. "Eureka, No 410" is also detailed to the door and is probably the model of the gas cooker represented. Some minor scratches to the finish otherwise complete and in good and working order. 5.5" tall x 3" x 2.75" front to back.

3 Piece Carving Set CS54
Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's three piece steel meat carving set in the original leather paper covered box. The box interior is lined with red silk to the lid and red velvet to the base. The knife is etched for the maker "T.Turner & Co Cutlers to His Majesty", the sharpening steel is stamped 'cast steel', the fork has a good sprung guard, all have silver ferrules and chip carved buffalo horn handles made to appear as Stag Antler. Remember, these pieces of cutlery are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they dislike water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. Some shrinkage to the paper covering on the box, otherwise complete and in good and working order. Box 15.5" x 4.75" x 1.75". Price is for the set.

Original, pre-war enamel electric light fitting with pure white enamel to the underside and leaf green to the upper. This large bowl shaped fitting, originally industrial lighting, has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex and a new brass UK bulb holder. An old cast iron ceiling rose and a length of new chromed chain is included. Fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order. Although the upper green enamel is super clean and bright the white enamel has some minor damage to the surface and chips to the rim. A great run of hanging lighting units for the kitchen or workplace. Shade 14.25" diam and 9.5" tall. Chain 19", ceiling rose 2.5" diam and 2" tall. Price is for each.

Original, quality, circa 1900, mounted brace of Tench in a bow fronted glazed cabinet with glazed end panels. This super example has all the quality and realism of a Cooper mount but no detailed label to that effect, however the label does detail who caught them and where and the weights. "Caught by T.Potter, July 15th, 1901 Weights 4lbs and 4lb 2ozs". Again great groundwork typical of Cooper. The exterior of the case has been cleaned and repainted black and the original wire loops are intact for wall mounting. Complete and in good order. Cabinet 39" x 15.5" tall plus loop and 8" front to back at centre of bow front.

This could well be a jeweller's working Anvil and will detach from the base, for it appears to have been used by the fine scarring on the top working bed. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order. 2.75" tall, Anvil 3.25" front to back and base of stand 2.25" x 2.5".

These shades have been fitted with replacement, lacquered brass shade holders made to suit to fit standard, modern, UK electric bulb holders, but these shades will also fit a standard 2.5" gas gallery. The shades have a turned out frilly top rim and are perfect with not a chip or crack in sight and can be used up or downward facing. 6" tall including holder and 5.5" widest.

Original, quality late 19th century butcher's knife sharpening steel with a nickel ferrule guard and swivel hanging ring and a buffalo horn handle grip. The steel is impressed for a Sheffield maker and is a lot longer than normally found. Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, all is complete and in good and working order. 22" long including ring x 1.25" wide.
