Original, quality buff coloured stoneware hot water filled hand warmer with the original screw in stopper and wire handle with wooden grip. The front of this super miniature hot water bottle is detailed in black transfer print "The adaptable hot water bottle for muff or pocket, made at the old Fulham Pottery", and with the registration number for the year 1904. Complete but with a faint hairline crack to the reverse, shown in picture. 4" tall with handle down, 3.5" widest and 1.25" front to back.

This example has a screw in stopper to the top, two steel rings for the original rope handle and is transfer printed in black with a picture of a bungalow and "The Bungalow Footwarmer, Derby Stoneware" and with the registration number for the year 1913. Original, quality, late 19th century, buff coloured stoneware footwarmer, to be filled with hot water. This example has a knob grip to the front and a screw off filler stopper to the top, incised "Doulton Lambeth" the warmer is transfer printed in black "Doulton's Improved Footwarmer, Lambeth Pottery, London". Most importantly this example is also transfer printed "WM Dibben and Sons Ltd" for the retailer and "Ironmonger and Heating and Lighting Engineer, Southampton, Winchester, Eastleigh and Woolston". All is complete and in good order, with not a chip in sight, very usable and very collectable. 9.5" x 4.5" wide and 4.75" tall including stopper.

Large Stoneware Footwarmer FW68
Original, quality, late 19th century, large glazed buff coloured stoneware footwarmer, for filling with hot water. This superb example, the first we have seen, would have been used on the floor of a coach or motor car and is decorated to the edges of the sloping front with arrowroot leaves in deep relief and has faux screwed on fittings to each side to take rope handles. The original screw in stopper has survived and some restoration has been carried out around the neck of the filler aperture. The front is impressed with the maker's stamp "Powell of Bristol" and all is now complete and in good and working order. A most unusual hot water bottle. 12" wide x 9.25" front to back + 6" tall including stopper.

The front is impressed "2 Qt" for the size (2 quarts = 4 pints), transfer printed "Ye Olde Fulham Pottery est.1671" and with the registration number for the year 1913. Complete and in good and working order. 11.5" diameter plus the wire grip, 5" wide, 5" front to back.

Original, quality, late 19th century, superb very thin and curved oval shaped hot water filled warmer, in tin, with a brass label, screw off cap and a folding flat wire loop handle. This incredible warmer has just one minor dent, otherwise all is in mint condition. The pressed brass oval maker's plate is detailed "Michael Wright, Hydropathic Appliance and Bath Manf Co, Matlock Bank" All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. 8.25" x 6.5" and 2.25" front to back.

These were tied around the waist under ones clothing using a ribbon or bandage to ease stomach pains. Some minor dents, otherwise complete and in good and working order. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 10" x 7.5" and 2.5".

Original, quality, late 19th century, copper warming pan with the original ebonised turned wooden handle. These were originally used with hot coals inside to warm up the bed before use. This example has a punch engraved decoration to the lid, a lifting ring and is complete, although a little dented to the underside. The copper has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. Total length 41.5" x handle 1.25" diameter, pan 11" diameter and 3.5" front to back.

Original, quality, late 19th century, copper warming pan with the original brass lid and turned fruitwood handle, these were originally used with hot coals inside to warm up the bed before use. This unusual example has a punch engraved decoration to the lid, a lifting ring and does have some minor metal fatigue to the rim of the lid, but otherwise all is complete and in good order. The metalwork has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Total length 42" x handle 1.25" diameter, pan 11" diameter and 3.5" front to back.

Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, extra large, copper bedwarmer of an ovoid form, to be filled with hot water and with a cast brass screw on filler cap and two cast brass loop handles with turned fruitwood grips. The original brass plug is still in place beneath the screw on cap and although there are a few very minor dents, all is in superb condition. This would be filled with hot water and is complete and in good and working order and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 31" x 16.5" and 6.5" tall.
