Original, quality 1920's cast pink brass wall mounted triple coat hook of a super design. This example is impressed to the reverse of the rectangular backplate with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham' and "W.L" and was original nickel plated, which has mostly rubbed away. This design enables the three hooks to be flat against the wall or door when not in use or facing out individually as and when required. The backplate has two countersunk screw holes for mounting and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. Backplate 3.25" x 1.25", flat 3.5" wide x 1" front to back and out 1.25" wide x 3.5" front to back.

Original, quality, late 19th century, cast brass four branch hat and coat hook of the most unusual proportions, with one tall hook for the hat and three shorter for coats. The backplate has three countersunk screw holes for mounting and is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham'. All is lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. Backplate 2" x 1.75", tall 9.5" and 5" wide, 2" front to back.

These open pierced and fretted candlesticks have patent lift out sconces and are impressed to the underside with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham'. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order. 8.5" tall and 4" square bases.

Pair of WT&S Brass Candlesticks CS154
Pair of original, quality, heavy cast brass candlesticks of a most unusual form, with lift out sconces and cast iron shaped weights to the undersides. Each has a square base with serpentine sides and a square tapered stem and a square collar to the top. The sconces are stamped "Protected" and of the same shape as the bases. The weights to the undersides are impressed with the sun logo and" WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham' and have the registration number for the year 1902. The undersides have the original gold paint and the candlesticks have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good order. A great pair of candlesticks by this great maker. Bases 3" square x 7" tall.

Original, quality, single, cast brass candlestick of an unusual form, with pierced decoration of flowers, vines and acanthus leaves and two faces of a bearded, mythical character. The lift out sconce to the top is marked 'Protected', the underside is impressed with 'W.T & S', for the manufacturer William Tonks and Sons of Birmingham, and with the registration mark for the year 1888. Sadly, only one of the pair but, nevertheless a superb, very unusual candlestick, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. 10.5" high and base 4.25" diameter.

Original, quality late 19th century superb honey coloured oak wall mounted coatrack of a good shape with 4 cast brass hat and coat hooks. 4 single coat hooks and an oval shaped mirror within a beaded brass frame. The reverse of the backboard is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham'. The brass has been polished and lacquered although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the oval mirror is a replacement fitted. To mount to the wall remove 2 coat hooks, use the holes to screw to the wall and replace the coat hooks. Complete and in good working order. Backboard 33.5" wide, 19.5" tall and 1.25" front to back, total including hooks 21.5" tall and 4" front to back.

Original, quality, late 19th century, larger than average cast brass door pull knob in the patinated unpolished finish. This super example has impressed designs to the knob and matching circular backplate, in the Aesthetic Movement style. This handle will not turn a lock or latch, only pull the door closed. A threaded dome headed steel bolt and washer are fitted for mounting and the reverse of the backplate has a registration lozenge mark for the year 1878 and the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham'. Complete and in good and working order. Backplate 3.5", knob 3.25" diameter and 3.75" front to back.

The reverse has the registration lozenge mark for the year 1862 and "WT&S" for the manufacturer William Tonks and Sons of Birmingham. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. A serious door porter. 13.25" tall x 6" wide + 2" front to back at base.

Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order. Base 5" x 3.5" + 4.5" tall. Original, quality, late 19th century, small cast brass letter flap, with a horseshoe decoration over the top and "Letters" impressed to the flap. The upper cased text is fashioned using the horseshoe motif and the reverse is impressed "96", with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1879. The original threads and nuts are still fitted and a weighted bar has been added to the flap to give it closure. Although it does have a tiny aperture for letters, it is an interesting variation, complete and in good and working order. Exterior 7" x 3", aperture 4.25" x 1" and bolt centres 6".
