Original, quality, late 19th century, cast brass four branch hat and coat hook of the most unusual proportions, with one tall hook for the hat and three shorter for coats. The backplate has three countersunk screw holes for mounting and is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham'. All is lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. Backplate 2" x 1.75", tall 9.5" and 5" wide, 2" front to back.

Pair of original, quality, heavy cast brass candlesticks of a most unusual form, with lift out sconces and cast iron shaped weights to the undersides. Each has a square base with serpentine sides and a square tapered stem and a square collar to the top. The sconces are stamped "Protected" and of the same shape as the bases. The weights to the undersides are impressed with the sun logo and" WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham' and have the registration number for the year 1902. The undersides have the original gold paint and the candlesticks have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good order. A great pair of candlesticks by this great maker. Bases 3" square x 7" tall.

Original, quality, single, cast brass candlestick of an unusual form, with pierced decoration of flowers, vines and acanthus leaves and two faces of a bearded, mythical character. The lift out sconce to the top is marked 'Protected', the underside is impressed with 'W.T & S', for the manufacturer William Tonks and Sons of Birmingham, and with the registration mark for the year 1888. Sadly, only one of the pair but, nevertheless a superb, very unusual candlestick, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. 10.5" high and base 4.25" diameter.

Original, quality late 19th century superb honey coloured oak wall mounted coatrack of a good shape with 4 cast brass hat and coat hooks. 4 single coat hooks and an oval shaped mirror within a beaded brass frame. The reverse of the backboard is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son, of Birmingham'. The brass has been polished and lacquered although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the oval mirror is a replacement fitted. To mount to the wall remove 2 coat hooks, use the holes to screw to the wall and replace the coat hooks. Complete and in good working order. Backboard 33.5" wide, 19.5" tall and 1.25" front to back, total including hooks 21.5" tall and 4" front to back.

Original, quality superb cast brass on oak wall mounted dinner gong manufactured by William Tonks and Son of Birmingham with a lion's head on a scrolled brass mount, all mounted on a rectangular shaped honey coloured light oak backboard with a hook for the brass shafted beater beneath. The circular brass gong is suspended from the lion's jaws and has a textured finish. The backboard has a brass wall hanging plate to the reverse and this and the oak backboard is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham'. The backboard is also stamped with the registration number for the year 1912. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order with a super deep tone and resonance. The backboard has a slight warp but is in good order otherwise. Total drop 27", gong 12" x 1.75" as in picture, backboard 16.75" x 7.5" and beater 10" x 2".

Original, quality late 19th century, superb cast brass on oak, wall mounted dinner gong. This exceptional example, manufactured by William Tonks and Son of Birmingham, must have been one their most detailed dinner gongs of all for the cast brass bracket is primarily a mythical horse with wings and a dragon's tail supporting the mount to hold the gong fashioned as two serpents and the back mount has a mythical bird or reptile head. All is mounted on the original honey coloured oak rectangular backboard with a forked hook to the lower edge to hold the beater. The circular brass gong has a textured finish and a logo "Burmese" and the backboard has a brass wall hanging plate marked "WT&S" with the sun logo. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order with a good tone and resonance. Backboard 15" x 7, gong 10" x 1.5", total drop 23" and hammer 9.5" x 1.75".

Original, quality, late 19th century, small cast brass letter flap, with a horseshoe decoration over the top and "Letters" impressed to the flap. The upper cased text is fashioned using the horseshoe motif and the reverse is impressed "96", with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1879. The original threads and nuts are still fitted and a weighted bar has been added to the flap to give it closure. Although it does have a tiny aperture for letters, it is an interesting variation, complete and in good and working order. Exterior 7" x 3", aperture 4.25" x 1" and bolt centres 6".
