Original, quality late 19th century heavy galvanised and riveted 10ft water trough for livestock. This superb example will hold water and does have a ballcock valve under the covered lockable end. Each end of the tank has a large tethering/lifting ring, and all is complete and in good order. Perfect for watering the livestock, for an outside fish tank /pond or as a planter. 10ft Long x 18.5" wide, 16.5" tall tank depth and 21" tall at covered end.

Original, quality 1930's/40's all honey coloured oak child's cot with a drop side facility and casters. This super example is all original throughout and in the original finish. The lift out base has a criss cross of wire, and an ivorine label for the manufacturer/retailer "Heal and Sons Ltd London". All will dismantle into five panels for storage and could still be used, providing material was lined to the interior, but more importantly, it is ideal for a film setting in the 2nd World War. Complete and in good and working order. 43.5" tall, 47.5" long x 24" wide.

Mintey Stacking Bookcase F280
Original, quality five sections of 1940's/50's stacking bookcases in Walnut manufactured by "Mintey Library Specialist Oxford". This superb set has two base units each with a pair of hinged doors, two top units and one middle section. Each section, apart from the base units, is fitted with sliding plate glass doors on aluminium runners, and each has an ivorine label to the inside detailing the manufacturer. The sections will lock together with a concealed system from inside the top of the lower sections. All are complete and in good and working order and are usuable set up as in the pictures, and other matching section can be added and fitted when available. Taller 42.5" tall x 35" wide and 14.25" front to back at floor. Lower 32" tall x 35" and 9" upper section. Price is for the set.

Original, quality late 19th century cork press as used by the chemist shops and dispensaries to compress small corks before dropping them into medical bottlenecks. This example will take four different sized corks and is in the form of an unrealistic crocodile with its tail in the air as the handle. Each foot has a countersunk screw holes for fixing to the workbench. One chip to the base of the tail otherwise all is complete and in good and working order and has been cleaned and lacquered. 11.25" x 4.5".

This most unusual item, only the second we have seen, is coppersmith made with a fine turned mahogany handle and has all the appearances of a bed warming pan for hot coals, but this is definitely a collecting receptacle for passing down the pews. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order. 27.5" x 9.5" x 3".

Original, quality mid to late 19th century pressed copper insurance firemark, recently mounted on an oak backboard made to suit. This super example is in the original green patinated colour but rather thin and frail in places, hence the fresh backboard. A well detailed firemark nevertheless with a sheaf of corn to the centre and swags and banner around. Plaque 10.25" x 8" and backboard 12.5" x 10".

Original, quality late 19th century floor standing dinner gong with a large polished brass gong suspended within the oak stand in the original old lacquer finish. This 'Gothic' styled frame has coloured cutouts in the design and has turned buttons to support the gong. The hammer is an old replacement of similar age and all is complete and in good and working order with a good tone and resonance. 47.5" tall, 28" wide and 18" front to back on floor. This example is most unusual to have a circular frame on a central column with a three legged pedestal beneath. Original, quality late 19th century circular white ceramic plate on a plinth with six feet. The feet have gilt lined detail, and the plate has detail of ears of corn and stems of oats also gilded and in raised green gothic text the motto "Eat Thy Bread with Joy and Thankfulness". The underside is impressed "pearl ware" and one foot has two hairline cracks otherwise all is complete and in good order. A most unusual bread plate the first we have seen.12" diam and 3" tall.

Engraved Copper Kettle K126
Original, quality large, very clean, copper kettle circa 1900, with a circular copper lid with an acorn shaped finial, a shaped spout to the front and a cast brass handle over the top with a tubular copper grip. Most exciting though is the punch engraved detail to the shoulder, "The Jolly Anglers", with a fishing creel embossed and fish on the bank freshly caught. The underside of the kettle is stamped for the manufacturer "W.Souter and Sons of Birmingham", and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual kettle with great dovetailed seams and condition and good tinning to interior. 13" tall, 9" wide and 13.25" front to back including spout.
