Original, quality late 19th century cast brass door porter / door stop with a half bell shaped base with a cast iron counterbalance infill and a turned brass stem with a ring handle grip to the top. A good period design and impressed to the cast iron infill with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham' the cast iron infill. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order. 13.75" tall, 6" wide at base and 3" front to back.

Kenrick Cast Iron Coffee Grinder CG50
Original, quality late 19th century 'No 1' cast iron coffee grinder with a brass maker's label to the front detailing "Archibald Kenrick and Sons Ltd West Bromwich". A brass knob to the pull out drawer at the front, a brass hopper to the top and a cranked handle with a turned hardwood finial grip. The side lugs enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or a table and the grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside when the drawer is removed. Much of the original black paintwork is visible and has been cleaned and waxed and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra. Complete and in good and working order. 7" tall including handle, 7.5" widest including handle, base 5.5" wide including lugs and 4.5" front to back.

Original, post-war chromed motor car badge for the "Royal Scottish Automobile Club". This superb quality badge has an enamelled white cross on blue for Scotland and heavily embossed decoration of thistles with a crown to the top. The lower section has two bolt holes for mounting and the reverse is detailed for the maker "Alexander Scott Ltd Glasgow" and owner's membership number AA2932. All is complete and in good order. 4.75" tall x 3.75" and 0.25".

Cast Iron Conservatory Heater HS15
Original, quality late 19th century very decorative cast iron conservatory heater with pierced panels all round, red glass inner panels, one side opening hinged door and a brass oil reservoir with working oil burner and glass chimney. A cast iron maker's plate is fixed to the top detailing 'Veritas Stove', and each panel and part in cast iron is impressed with the registration for the year 1893. Each of the four sides are embossed and pierced with details of acanthus leaves, ferns and other foliage and all the cast iron has been burnished and lacquered. The original brass knob to the door and the oil front and burner have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The tip of the cast iron urn finial to the top cover is missing, but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. A really super looking stove and in great working order. 27" tall, body 8" square and base 11.5" square.

Original, quality heavy horse brass haime plate worn across the top of the haimes worn around the collar. This example was issued to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria's 50 years Reign on the Throne of England. This shaped plate has two loops for the leather strap behind and is impressed "Jubilee 1837 - 1887" and has a lead model of The Queen's portrait side view in relief. The lead profile is rather rubbed but is recognisable, and otherwise all is complete and in good order. Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 6" x 2.75" x 0.75".

1914 Princess Mary Brass Box with Contents M86
Original, quality pressed brass tin in the original unpolished matt gilt finish with the embossed hinged lid bearing the camoe of Princess Mary, two 'M' monograms and panels around it with the names of countries allied to Great Britain in the 1st World War; Belgium, Japan, Russia, Monte Negro, Sierra and France. Complete and in good order. These brass tins, containing a variety of items dependant on the recipient, were given to all British troops serving overseas for Christmas 1914. The funds for these were raised by Princess Mary, daughter of King George V. Most but not all of the tins were issued with a pack of cigarettes, a pack of tobacco, a Christmas card in an envelope, a printed photo of Princess Mary and a silver tipped brass shell case with a pencil inside, but this one did and still does contain all the listed items and all are marked with the monogram 'M' with a crown over. All items are very clean and complete apart from the pack of cigarettes; this has been opened, but seventeen cigarettes remain, again each printed with the monogram. 5" x 3.25" x 1.25".

Pair of original, quality late 19th century superb small copper fire engine side lamps, with brass fittings, the original oil reservoirs and burner and large brass makers plates to the top detailing "Merryweather and Sons, Fire Engine Makers Long Acre London" and with the Royal Coat of Arms. The only apparent alteration from all being totally original is that the burners are a little different, one wire ring handle on the oil tank has been replaced, and there is a very minuscule chip to one glass. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Otherwise all is original, in good order and complete and in working order. 8" tall including handle, 3.25" wide and 4.5" front to back including mounting assembly.

For use with a 12 volt, low voltage electric supply system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock, and many other bell fittings of differing types may also be available. Fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. 3.75" exterior diam and 1" diam to be recessed 1.5".

Original, quality pair of late 19th century large oval shaped meat platters with sepia decoration of flowers and birds with Hydrangea leaves and bloom to the centre. The design is entitled 'French Groups' and detailed as such to the underside. Both the platters have some minor staining and the one with the deep gravy veins and well has two very minor chips to the foot on the underside. Otherwise all is complete and in good order and very usable. Most unusual to find these in this condition and a matching pair. 21" x 17" and 2.25". 20.5" x 16.75" and 3".

The plinth has three cast iron lions paw feet and the body has a brass maker's plate embossed "Wrights Improved gas radiating stove No 212058" and with a registration lozenge mark for the year 1867: Not complete, not suitable for use but a great looking piece. Cleaned and lacquered and in good order. 24" tall, body 8.5" diam and total spread including feet 11".

Original, quality pair of five branch cast brass candelabras circa 1900, in the 18th century style. The bases are as single candlesticks with a double layered plinth and shaped stems and would work as a pair of single candlesticks. The upper five candle sconces are set as four level branches each with one candle holder and one central to match but taller. Each of the five sconces have the original square brass drip pans, the upper central stem matches the lower stem beneath, and the top cluster of five will lift off if required. Some good repairs and now all complete and in good and working order and polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual pair of candelabras. 18" tall, 12" widest and bases 5" square. Single sticks 8.5" tall.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's light oak roll top desk with a fitted interior within a 'S' tambour front, all mounted on twin pedestals with a wide drawer between over the knee space and a modesty back panel. Will unscrew easily into five sections plus a few smaller pieces. The interior has many pigeon holes, two small drawers and pull out pen racks. Each pedestal is mounted on casters, has a deep filing drawer to the base, two standard drawers above and a pull out typewriter shelf. The tambour front has a lock and key and when rolled down it will lock automatically and the key is only required to open it. When locked down an internal system will also lock all the drawers and when raised up, the drawers are freed. All has been cleaned and overhauled and the original finish enhanced and complete and in good and working order. 45.25" tall at back and 48" widest. Worksurface 30.5" tall, 30" exterior front to back. Knee hole 24.5" tall.

Original, quality late 19th century three door wardrobe in walnut. This clean example will break down into two main body parts, the plinth, the cornice plus the three doors, the largest section is the size of two doors wide although the doors will lift off the body section if necessary. The right hand section was originally fitted out with trays and drawers, but these were removed long ago, and the complete wardrobe is now set up for hanging on two rails plus the bonnet box to the bottom of the right hand section. The two outer panelled doors have raised and carved panels with deep cut floral detail and the centre door has the original bevelled mirror. The brass fittings and locks are the original and can be polished if required and the locks have been fully overhauled with a key for each. Some minor scuffs and knocks consistent with use but all still in the original finish and in good and working order.Tall 79.75" plus 5" optional top trim. Body including plinth 69.5" wide. Body including cornice 72" wide. Exterior front to back 21.25". Interior front to back 18.5".

Original, quality 1920's clean and bright enamel sign advertising "W.D and H.D Wills Wild Woodbine Cigarettes" in white text on blue background with a packet of cigarettes illustration with three cigarettes pushing out the top. The lower edge also details "Issued by the imperical tobacco Co. (of Great Britain and Ireland Ltd)" partially obscured. Some rust areas to the enamel around the edges, one patch of enamel damage above the 'S' at the lower right corner and the colour of the cork tips to the cigarettes has faded away, otherwise a clean enamel sign and not a common example. 36" x 18".

Original, quality, brass plate, with slots for nine different sized coins patented in 1853. This brass plate was fitted onto the shop counter. Its purpose was to test coins for counterfeits, a coin was placed in the relative slot and if correct in weight and size, it depressed the rocker balance below the slot and fell into the drawer below, faulty coins would not go through the slot or stayed in the slot. The slots on this example, each with its own rocker balance, are marked "Sixpence, Fourpence, Threepence, Half Sovereign. Sovereign, Shilling, Florin, Half Crown and Crown". The brass top plate has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual coin scale / detector, complete and in good and working order. Brass face 6" x 4" and max 1" tall including mechanism.

Original, quality multifaceted moulded glass electric light fitting with brass clips and shade holder and a two section light unit. The top collar of this example is embossed " Holophane patented 1909". Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex and a new brass UK bulb holder and a length of new brass chain and a new brass ceiling rose is included. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra. Fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order. 13" tall plus chain 15", 13" diam, ceiling rose 2.25" tall and 3.5" diam.
