Original, quality late 19th century curved cast brass instruction plate from a "Wessex and Thorpe Patent Bucket Fire Extinguisher". This curved shaped plaque has two bolt holes for mounting and is detailed "In case of fire remove cover and lift out seven buckets full of water", "M567" and "Dockhead London SE". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order. 9.25" x 7.25".

Brass on Cast Iron Number Plates HN32
Original, quality cast iron shaped backplates with applied brass numbers. The reverse of the backplates are impressed with the registration number for the year 1906. Much of the original black paint has remained and all has been cleaned and lacquered. These were probably the mounting plates for a school coat rack and each has four countersunk screw holes for mounting. Only the numbers shown are available.
