Original, quality late 19th century blue glazed stoneware loo pull handle with the original brass mounts and chain. This super example manufactured by Doulton was one of four different colours produced other than white ones. The ceramic pull is perfect with no chips or cracks and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. Pull handle 5" X 1" and total length including chain 33".

Original, quality circa 1910 / 1920's multifaceted pressed glass electric light fitting with an adjustable brass shade holder. The glass bowl is embossed 'Holophane 973' for the manufacturer and the brass holder "Holophane" with a patent number. Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex and new brass UK bulb holder and fully overhauled. A length of new brass chain and a replacement brass ceiling rose is included. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. This is the first of this model we have seen. Shade and holder 9.5" tall and 10.5" diam. Chain 15". Rose 2"tall and 2.5" diam.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's heavy all cast brass ship's porthole, with the glass to the hinged section and a cogged ratchet locking system. The glazed window frame is impressed "J Stone & Co London" for the manufacturer and "Mullans Patent". A very heavy porthole, appears complete and in good order. This item was purchased during the filming of an episode of Dickinson's Real Deal at Stafford. Outer Frame 18" diam, glazed frame 15.5" diam exterior, visible glass 12" and total 3.25" front to back.

Original, quality early to mid 19th century pressed brass ewer and basin, with a super shaped ewer with a cast brass handle and good dove tailed jointed seams. The original matching bowl does have solder repairs to some wear and metal fatigue on the base but otherwise in good order. Both the ewer and basin will hold water if required and have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Most unusual to find an all brass jug and basin and these may well be continental. Basin 15.75" diam and 5" tall. Jug 13" tall, 7" wide and 9" front to back and 5.75" including handle

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's wall mounted tea leaf dispenser with much of the original green and gold lined paintwork. This most unusual machine was used in a café / tea shop environment with the hopper filled with loose tea leaves and each time the handle was turned forward and back the counter to the left would increase by one. I assume each portion would be equivalent to a teaspoon. The machine is mounted to two decorative cast iron wall brackets each with two screw holes for fixing. The tin hopper has a glass window to the front to view the tea leaves and the lid on top has a turned wooden knob and a brass hasp for a padlock, as has the cover to the counter control. The brass plaque to the front details the manufacturer "Sumerling and Co Ltd Manufacturers and Patentees, Bunhill Row and Old St London EC1". The paintwork has been cleaned and waxed and the brass mounts polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Appears complete and in good and working order. This is a first for us.Total height 16", total width 15" including handle and small cover. 10" front to back when mounted on wall.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's superb very decorative cast brass continental inkwell, in a serious Art Nouveau design incorporating four serpents, winged mythical heads, arrowroot leaves and stylised floral decorations. The base has four arrow shaped feet, a pair of large carry handles and a central square inkwell with a hinged lid with a finial knob. The serpents to each corner act as pen rests for dipping pens and the Bakelite liner is a good fit but not original to the inkwell. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. This delightful inkwell was purchased during the filming of an episode of Dickinson's Real Deal on location in Warwick.

Original, quality 1960's cast aluminium tea set comprising coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug with the original matching tray. The teapot, coffee pot and tray all have polished wooden mounts and the tray is in aluminium framed Formica with a wood grain finish. The underside of the four pots are impressed "Picquot Ware J6" and "Made in England" and all is in super condition and ready for use. Tray 17" x 11" x 2". Coffee pot 7.5" tall. Jug 3.5" tall. This is continved on the reverse also with the date of manufacturer '1928'. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is empty but complete otherwise but not suitable for use. Original, quality late 19th century galvanised water carrier on the original blacksmith made wrought iron wheeled carriage, with a good style and shape. The cast iron wheel hubs are embossed with the manufacturer "Boulton Paul of Norwich". The good sized galvanised drum is oval in shape, has a pull handle front and back and swings on the carriage for balance empty or full. This drum has several rust holes to the floor and will not hold water. So a good looking planter for the garden, or for fitting with a liner. Otherwise all is in good order but could do with a pair or turned wooden handgrips. Drum 23" tall and 27" x 18". Total length 65" x 31" axle width. Wheels 24" diam x 2.25" thick.

This example is impressed '14lb' to the top of the grip and "H Pooley and Sons Ltd" to the shoulder and has the lead infill to the underside with 'GR' customs and excise stamp. Original, quality late 19th century superb single candle coach lamp with the original bracket. This example is grander than most and would have been used on a Landau or a liveried coach rather than a wagon or gig etc. The two larger shaped bevelled glass panels are separated with three slim panels, each having copper beaded edges. The interior is in nickel plate, as is the candle tube / grip and the decorative most to the top and mount is bleeding through to the copper. The candle holder to the inside is stamped "John and Hen Lowe". All is complete and in good and working order and in superb condition throughout. The black metalwork has been cleaned and repainted and the nickel plated and copper mounts have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 19" tall, body 6.5" square and 9.5" front to back including mount for bracket.

Original, quality late 19th century brass bound beech brace with a lever chuck action, an ebony head with an inset brass maker plate and brass mounts. One bracing plate is impressed for the maker "James Howarth Sheffield", the inset plate to the head, "James Howarth Broomspring Works" and the mouth of the chuck is stamped '98' or '89' perhaps for the year? All has been cleaned, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Fully overhauled, and complete and in good and working order. A seriously good example in super condition and the first brace by this maker we have had. 13.75" x 5.5" x 1.25" body and 3" diam x 0.75" head.

Original, quality nickel police whistle manufactured by "J. Hudson & Co 244 Barr Street Birmingham". This example is impressed "The Metropolitan Patent" and "Berkshire Constabulary", and the top is detailed with the patent number for the year 1908. This whistle has retained the original chain with the collar button hole hook for easy access. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. This is the first Berkshire Constabulary whistle we have had to date. Whistle 3.25" x 0.75". Chain and hook 16.5".

Cammell Laird and Co Ltd Promotional Paper Weight A93
Original, quality 1920's advertising desk or counter paper weight in the form of a standing camel on a rectangular shaped block. This example appears to be in pewter or spelter, later painted in brown paint. Each side of the plinth is mounted with a brass plaque detailing in relief to, one side "Cammell Laird & Co Ltd, Sheffield, Grimesthorpe & Penistone" and the other side "Cammell Laird & Co Ltd, Shipyard Birkenhead". All has been washed and lacquered and is complete and in good order with just some rubbing to the later brown paint. Cammell Laird were huge ship builders having many famous ships to their credit including HMS Ark Royal, The Mauritania, The Robert F.Stockton, HMS Birkhead, CSS Alabama and The Fullages to name but a few. 4" tall and base 3.75" x 1.75".
