Original, quality charming silver plated tea strainer on the original ceramic and plated stand in the original cardboard box. The strainer has a crown for each handle and the initials "G & E" and "1937" and the stand has the monogram to the top over "G & E" and "Coronation". The box is pale blue inside and out with a good portrait of King George VI in his uniform to the top. This was issued to commemerate the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth and 1937. All is complete and in good and working order. Box 3.75" square x 1.5" tall.

Kenrick Cast Iron Coffee Grinder CG50
Original, quality late 19th century 'No 1' cast iron coffee grinder with a brass maker's label to the front detailing "Archibald Kenrick and Sons Ltd West Bromwich". A brass knob to the pull out drawer at the front, a brass hopper to the top and a cranked handle with a turned hardwood finial grip. The side lugs enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or a table and the grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside when the drawer is removed. Much of the original black paintwork is visible and has been cleaned and waxed and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra. Complete and in good and working order. 7" tall including handle, 7.5" widest including handle, base 5.5" wide including lugs and 4.5" front to back.

This example has a cast iron hopper to the top with a white enamelled inside and a cranked handle with a turned hardwood knob/grip. The brass label details "A. Kenrick and Sons Patent Coffee Mill" for the manufacturer from West Bromwich and royal an a coat of Arms. The side lugs enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or a table and the grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside when the drawer is removed. Much of the original black paintwork is evident and all has been cleaned and lacquered, fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. Base including lugs 5.5" and 4.5" front to back. Total 6.75" tall and 8" wide both including handles.

Original, quality mid 19th century copper coffee pot with a side spout, a hinged circular lid with a brass finial grip and a side handle with a turned and ebonised grip a super heart shaped fixing mount to the handle. The sides of the body are sloping in towards the top, and the interior has good tinning. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. 9.5" tall and 5.5" base diam, 8" wide including spout and 11.25" wide including side handle.

Original, quality, early 19th century, copper coffee pot with a waisted body, a squared base and a hinged lid with a brass finial decorated with Acanthus leaves. This pot was originally Sheffield plated which has mostly worn away. All is original otherwise and complete, with no dents in sight. The spout has been off at some time but has now been reftted. A super delicate example of an early coffee pot. The copper has been lacquered, but the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost if required. Base 3" square, 8.75" tall, 5" wide and 8.25" front to back.

Original, quality late 19th century cast iron kettle with a super ribbed cast iron lid with the original nickel knob and a folding handle over the top. The underside is impressed "E Pugh and Co Wednesday" for the iron foundry, "No 2.5p" for the capacity 2.5 pints. All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. A very unusual example with the folding handle, the first we have seen. 10.5" tall with handle up and 7.5" down. 7.5" widest body and 11.5" front to back including spout.

Original, quality 1920's square copper kettle with rounded corners, a circular lid with a brass knob and a cast brass handle with a decorative cane covering to the central grip. This example has seen very little use, and the internal tinning is in good order. Some minor dents to the kettle and some damage to the underside only of the cane covering to the handle, otherwise, all is complete and in good and working order and polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Original, quality superb copper kettle, with lid, circa 1900 / 1920. The underside is impressed with the logo for the manufacturer W. Souter and Sons of Birmingham and all is in super condition. Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. But most of all look at the engraving to the shoulders and the finial to the lid, one side has two union flags, "October 17 1899" and "May 18 1900" and "B.P" for General Baden Powell. The other side is engraved "Mafeking". Baden Powell was successful in relieving the troops held down in "Mafeking", during the campaign wars in South Africa. Baden Powell was later renowned for setting up the Boy Scout Movement. This kettle is the first we have seen and initially I was not sure if the finial to the lid was a later addition but I believe it now to be original. 12" tall x 8" wide and 11.5" front to back including spout.

Original, quality late 19th century copper kettle, with cast brass handle supports and finial grip to the lid. This kettle is designed to stand on the kitchen range with the lower portion inside the top aperture of the range to speed up boiling the water. So remove the circular cast iron plate on the range and insert the kettle. The maker's mark for Edward Villers Wilkes Birmingham behind the spout is for, all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. 12.5" tall, 8.5" wide and 11.5" front to back including spout.

Copper Kettle on Heater K119
Original, quality early to mid 19th century, all copper rectangular shaped kettle, with a tap to the front and handle over with the original tall stand, with side loop handles and four fancy cast copper feet, to take the cast iron heating block in its own basket. The idea was to heat the block in the fire or oven then place it beneath the previously boiled water in the kettle, this would keep the kettle and contents warm for a longer period. This most unusual item is the first we have seen and although some very, very minor parts of the pierced decoration are missing to the stand, all is complete and in good order otherwise. All has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The finial to the tap is in black ceramic. Total height 16", 11" front to back and 9" wide including handle.

Original quality copper spirit kettle, circa 1880/1900, in the form of a cauldron on a camp fire. The copper kettle has a brass lid, handle and spout and is suspended over the brass meths burner from a brass frame, simulating branches. All is fixed onto a circular copper tray engraved with acanthus leaves and flowers which has a pie crust rim and itself is mounted on four brass bun feet. All has been fully overhauled, lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. The brass meths burner may well be an old replacement of similar age, for although it works, it is a little sloppy fit. 15" high x 10.25" base diameter.

This super example has a folding top handle covered in woven straw, a large screw off brass lid detailed "Notice take care to unscrew both caps before lighting lamp", a screw off cover to the spout with a retaining chain and inside a lift out tea infuser. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order. 7" tall with handle up and 4.5" when down. 6.75" wide including spout and 4.5" base diam.

Original, quality pair of late 19th century cylindrical brass storage canisters, with shaped and raised plinths and hinged lids. These were possibly shop tobacco jars or tea caddies. The interiors are tinned, and the lids are hinged to the rear section of the tops. All has been polished, and lacquered and are complete and in good order with no dents or damage.. These are the first we have seen. 8.5" tall x 7" diam base and 6" diam top rim.

Original, quality 1960's cast aluminium tea set comprising coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug with the original matching tray. The teapot, coffee pot and tray all have polished wooden mounts and the tray is in aluminium framed Formica with a wood grain finish. The underside of the four pots are impressed "Picquot Ware J6" and "Made in England" and all is in super condition and ready for use. Tray 17" x 11" x 2". Coffee pot 7.5" tall. Jug 3.5" tall. Sugar bowl 2.25" tall. Teapot 5" tall. Price is for the set.

Original, quality, silver plated on pewter, patent 'SYP' teapot manufactured by 'James Dixon and Sons of Sheffield' and marked as such to the underside with the registration number for the year 1901. The odd shaped lid / cover is also detailed "Patent SYP Trademark Chiswick London No1". The principle of this kettle is for the leaves to be placed above the perforated divider when the teapot is stood on its feet with the lid in place, and when the brew is the desired strength the teapot is to be stood as normal and hence the leaves would be held out of the liquid so the tea would not over strengthen (stew). Both the knob to the lid and the shaped handle are made of a composition and the plating is generally very bright and clean and only showing the slightest wear to the underside. 'S.Y.P = Simple Yet Perfect'. A most unusual patent teapot, in superb condition. 9" tall on feet x 5.5" wide and 8" front to back.

Original, quality 1920's, patent nickel tea strainer, with an adjustable bowl and an expanding spring clip fitting for attaching to the spout. Will not fit all spout sizes, but most standard sizes. The hinged bracket is moved to suit the angle and to ensure the tea poured from the spout is directed into the strainer bowl. Complete and in good and working order. Bowl 1.5" x 1.5", total 4" long including clip.

Original, quality early 19th century, fancy copper samovar/tea urn. The cast pink brass side handles are decorated with Acanthus leaf designs, the cast brass tap has a bone finial grip and the lid has a flower shaped finial/grip mounted above the vented area. The urn shaped body is mounted on a slender neck onto a shaped plinth with ribbed corner mounts and four bun feet. The rim on the plinth and the top rim have bands of pink cast brass as has the central body section. The heating bar and assembly to the inside is missing, but all is complete and in good and working order otherwise and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A super samovar in super condition. 16" tall and 13" front to back including handle tap. 14.5" wide including and 7" square base at feet.

Original, quality late 18th/early 19th century fancy copper samovar/tea urn, complete with the brass tap with a green stained ivory finnial and the lift out cast iron heating bar. The cast brass side handles are fashioned as eagle heads with a lifting ring through the necks. The oval shaped urn is supported on four flat reeded legs terminating in lions' paw feet and the tops of the legs have a lion's face embellishment. The lid of the urn has a figure of a sphinx as the grip above the vent holes and the base has another but differing sphinx. The front of the urn has a lozenge shaped silver plaque for engraving but not engraved and this has a good clear Georgian hallmark. The urn interior has good tinning and a replacement cast iron heating bar made to suit copied from an original. The exterior is in outstanding unpolished condition with only the odd very minor dent. All is complete and in good and working order. If you did wish to use it and has been fully overhauled. 18" tall and 13" front to back including tap. 13" wide including handle and 9" x 7" stand including feet.

Original, quality early 19th century fancy copper samovar/tea urn, complete with the brass tap and inner lift out fittings and heating bar. The cast pink brass side handles are decorated with Acanthus leaf designs, the cast brass tap to the front has an ivory finial and the vent to the inside of the lid is detailed "Best London Manufacturer". The urn shaped body is mounted on a slender neck onto a square plinth with the original bun feet. The rim of the circular section of the base., the finial to the lid and the bands of pink brass to the shoulder and neck, all have finely detailed pattern trims. A replacement cast iron heating bar has been made to suit. All has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. A superb samovar in super condition. 16.5" tall and 14" front to back including tap. 15" wide including handles and 7.25" square spread of feet.
