Original, quality late 19th century bread knife with a polished Sheffield Steel blade and a pistol grip shaped nickel handle, mounted to each end with acanthus leaf decoration. All has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. Remember, this knife is are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but does not like water or moisture; just wipe and dry it thoroughly. 12.75" x 1.25" blade x 1".

Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, bread knife with a steel blade and an ivorine handle in the form of a corn on the cob detailed to both sides. The handle is very realistic and the blade is marked "VR" with a crown for the reign of Queen Victoria and for the maker "Joseph Rodger and Son, Cutler to Her Majesty". This knife is steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but it does not like water or moisture; just wipe and dry it thoroughly. Original, quality, late 19th century, sharpening steel, probably from a carving set. This superb example has a carved ivory handgrip, a hallmarked silver ferule and a sterling silver finger guard. The steel is marked "Cavendish" and the ivory handle is carved with an entwined collar and a fern type leaf form down the handle. There are three old short hairline cracks in the end of the ivory, but otherwise all is complete and in superb and working order. 14" x 1" x 1".

Original, late 19th century, superb quality, leather case, fully lined and fitted, with a pair of flat sided cut glass beakers and a pair of folding spoons, forks and knives. Each set of cutlery slotted into the leather holder will slip easily into the drinking glass. The buff coloured leather carry case has an adjustable strap to the top and is impressed for the original owner "M. C" and "F. C". The handles on the cutlery are in white bleached and polished bone, the knife blade and corkscrew are steel and the top collars, spoon and fork are in nickel. No maker's name to the leather case or the cutlery, but nevertheless a super set, in super condition, appears unused. 6.25" x 4.75" and 1.75" front to back, cutlery 7.25" open, glass 3" x 1.5" and 4" tall. 12 Piece Set of Fish Knives and Forks C34
Original, quality, late 19th century, near unused, cased set of six silver plated fish knives and six forks. This above average set of cutlery is in the Kings pattern, engraved with acanthus leaf patterns to the front and impressed to the reverse "EPNS" and for the manufacturer "WW&S". Apart from super condition of the cutlery, the other exciting thing is the quality of the box, complete with the working lock and key. This box is in mahogany veneer, with sycamore strips to the inner edges and the inside is completely lined and fitted with Royal blue velvet and pinched and pleated Royal blue silk. The lid lining is detailed on the silk for the retailer "Schults Scwar and Co, Watchmakers, Jewellers and Goldsmiths, Pretoria Transvaal and at 24 Clerkenwell Road London EC". Some minor scratches and knocks to the outside of the box, but otherwise all is in super condition. Box 10" x 9" and 2.5", knives 8.75", forks 7.25". Price is for the set.

Original, quality, steel knife and fork with walnut side covers to the handles. The knife blade is etched 'Kings Coronation Dinner, Streatham, 1902'. These were obviously used for a dinner to celebrate the Coronation of King Edward VII. They appear unused and are complete and in good order. Forks 6.75" x 0.75" x 0.25" and knives 9" x 1" x 0.5".

Lord Fisher and a Cameo of a British bulldog above 'The Navy' in upper case. 2. King George V and a cameo of Britannia, above 'The Empire'. 3. Admiral Beatty and a cameo of a warship, above 'The Navy'. 4. Earl Roberts and a cameo of an Indian Army Soldier, above 'India'. 5. Earl Kitchener and a cameo of a British Soldier, above 'The Army'. 6. Duke of Connaught and a cameo of a soldier, above 'Canada'. The reverse of the spoons are all marked 'Patent applied for, Birks EPNS' and have garlands of roses, shamrocks and thistles for England, Ireland and Scotland. All have been polished and lacquered. A super part set of commeratives, the first we have seen. Each spoon 6" x 1.2" x 0.5". Price is for the set.

Original, quality, late 19th century, unused boxed set of silver plated dessert implements comprising a pair of fruit spoons, two nutcrackers, two nut picks and a pair of grape scissors. The scallop shaped fruit servers have gilded interiors to the bowls and all have embossed details to the grip. The box is also in mint condition with a blue velvet lining to the base, white silk lining to the hinged lid and 'leather paper' covering to the outside. The lid has the retailers label for "Murgatroyd and Horstall Artistic Jewellers, Corn Market, Halifax". All is truely in mint condition and a good push button catch to the front. Box 11" x 10" and 2" deep.

Original, quality, late 19th century, matching steel carving knife and fork mounted with taxidermied deer slot / hoofs as the handles, probably Roe Deer. Each piece has a nickel ferrule and a nickel hoof plate cover to the ends. The two pronged fork has a sprung steel carving guard and the knife is etched "Harrison and Staniforth Manufacturers Sheffield". The bowl has good dovetailed seams to the underside and rear and is impressed to the underside with the orb and cross logo for the manufacturer 'Benham and Froud' of London and Birmingham. The shaft is impressed "Hodges and Son Dublin" for the original retailer / wholesaler. A most unusual ladle, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. Bowl 2.75" tall x 3.25" diameter, total length 14".
